If your physician does not have admitting privileges, our Medical Director or other attending physician will be happy to oversee your care while you are staying with us. Holly Layman Bernardini, DO
Medical Director
Holly Layman Bernardini, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician who recently shifted the focus of her medical practice to patient care in skilled nursing facilities.
A graduate of Washington and Lee University, Dr. Bernardini obtained her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine internship at Wellington Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla., and her residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown, Pa.
In 2021, Dr. Bernardini was selected as one of North Carolina’s top doctors in the Charlotte region. She has consistently been a lead provider in her care discipline, where she has mentored other physicians and mid-levels while maintaining a patient-centered home practice.
Anant Soni, MD
Attending Physician
Dr. Anant Soni graduated from Baroda Medical College (M.S. University) India and finished his residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Catholic Medical Center, New York. He is board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Soni has been in practice since 1984. He has been in Raleigh since 1990 and has been at The Laurels of Forest Glenn since 1992. He follows his patients at Rex Hospital.
